Nigerian student who rejected UNILAG admission in favor of a foreign university rejoices as he begins work as an intern at Microsoft.

Ifeoluwakolopin, a Nigerian student, came to Twitter to announce his new job as a Software Engineer intern at Microsoft in the United States.

While reflecting on his trip, the student said that he was accepted into the University of Lagos in 2018 to study Mechanical Engineering, but he dropped out when a school he applied to, Minerva University in the United States, also gave him admission.

First-year students are required to study in Seoul, South Korea, as part of their university education. As a result, Ifeoluwakolopin, a first-year student at the university's Department of Computer Science, went to South Korea for his first year of study.

Following the completion of his first year in South Korea, Ifeoluwakolopin was offered a position as a Software Engineer intern at Microsoft in Washington, DC, in the United States.

He also disclosed that he will be able to finish his studies at Minerva University in the United States, where he will get knowledge and classroom experience in six different places around the world.
